i thought it was a boring, repetative & lazy piece of production.
take away the vocal sample and you've got nothing left.
Matthew Dekay did a remix of Intergalactic a few years ago and it sounded like he had an average piece of production lying around on his computer that he couldn't quite finish so he chucked a popular vocal in the breakdown and made a bootleg out of it. This one sounds like one of those imo.

harsh, however i can see where you're coming from and apart from Robbie not having yet given the thumbs up may be one of the reasons why it wont see the light of day... i've well and truely grown up with the perry sound which is why i love his rolling basslines and repetitive type sounds... but like all music its very subjective
