Is the Nuo capable of sending a MIDI clock signal--specifically, to Ableton live? I need a new mixer, and I want one that is capable of tracking the tempo of the music on my decks and locking Ableton loops into that tempo.

So did I.. So I bought one..
Danny, Tony, we will have to figure out a time to meet up. I work every second weekend (this one coming up being one that I work). House Party @ Dans sounds like a good idea..
I'm excited to get this fully up and connected with the MIDI support.

You dodgy bastard!
Best of luck though. From experience I know Ecler makes incredible mixers. The parts are exceptional they don't break they feel awesome and the sound quality is on par with A&H.
Obviously you are loving your new mixer!

only complaint so far is the "TAP" light button in the MIDI controller section keeps blinking and won't stop.. but its kinda trippy.. hahaha..
Hold down the TAP button for about 10 seconds....it'll stop flashing
Actually, to answer someone else, yes, it will send MIDI CLOCK, thats actually what its doing when its flashing like that. If you TAP that button, it'll actually flash at the beat of your tapping...and send this tempo out as a MIDI clock signal.
Otherwise, when you turn off the TAP, it is used to switch from side A to side B

I too have the Nuo 4 and use it with Ableton Live. It is a GREAT mixer, but it does have a couple things that get annoying such as the MIDI commands that the PFL and bass on/off switch send. You can't properly cue a track in Ableton without having to double tap the PFL button which is REALLY annoying. I have 2 channels of Ableton routed to the 1st and 4th channels of the Nuo 4 so I get to use the EQs on the Nuo which are REALLY good. The Nuo sounds really good, definately as good as an A&H which for $700 is a really good deal...but yeah if any of you guys are looking to control Live or Traktor, the Nuo 4 is where its at...for now.

Well, what I'll be needing from it primarily is the MIDI clock. As for the MIDI control, I'll be using a Bistream 3x
