Firstly there's a lot to like here so well done.
In terms of constructive crits I noticed the following;
+ At about .45 I would vary the drums or add a layer there for a while.
+ 1.15 - the white noise sweep is a bit unoriginal
+ The synths just after this might want to be a bit louder for impact
+ 1.40 - that snare roll - do something to make it a bit more original and ear catching
+ Bass - it's good but not quite tight enough with a few notes sounding out of time - I've done this sort of thing and know how hard it is. Set aside an hour just to focus on that alone and you might find you pin it.
I wonder if some of the bass notes / phrases could do with being another sound?
Sounds good enough to finish tho bro.
Hey Richard , I appreciate the time you took to listen and critique.
I agree with you on some of the things you mentioned and made some of the changes.
The funny white noise you are hearing is my cheap ass using a trial plugin. It gives a watermark in the form off white noise...lol
Guess it's time to make another purchase ...lol
Thanks man!

A singer would really do it justice though. What kind of thing are you looking for?
Not a bad remix at all.
I think the mix is a little dense around the mid/highs. If I had to guess I'd say it had gone through a MB compressor which has pushed these freq's at the cost of the mid/lows where your bass and drum punch may have been lost a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I do have a multiband compressor on the master. I would take if off should the track ever need to get mastered, but I need to get out of the habit of producing with it on!
I didn't read the description of yours before I listened and cinematic came to mind so the vibe fits for what you are going for to me. Very atmospheric, maybe a bit sparse but it is still in progress I reckon.

Kick seems a lil overcompressed/punchy/too prominent.
Sub-bass needed.
303 could do with a bit more progression.
I like the pads and ambient textures.

Production seems tight atm, sounds bright and has alot of ambiance but punchey at the same time.
At the same time, the arrangement seems confusing. Almost feels like a meld of break beat with house. I am unsure if that is your artistic desire to craft the two and your intention or, it was unforeseen. To me..it sounds disjointed.
-------------------------------------
I am actually in the same boat with this Wip. I am working in 140 and adding elements of dubstep (no..this wip is NOT dubstep only the bpm) and a great a capella. Arrangement wise, I like it. Compositional end is frustrating me.
It just sounds disjointed, almost as if it's battling itself and I cant explain why I persist. Usually after 24 hours and it's gone.
But I am intrigued to see If I can pull this one out...very different beat pattern I am working with.
But..here it is. I dunno..feedback always appreciated.

Sounds awesome scorp, the vocal feels nice and warm. The break beat is simple yet effective. The synth texture in the background works and gives all around feel to the track, good work man.
Thanks for your feedback. I was just experimenting with the breaks genre, idk ifI have it right, maybe i need to get some templates and see how its really done. I did it in 15 mins.

Nice work again and great soundscape. Perhaps a little lead of some sort after a while in the drop might work.
