Hey Thanks for that M! Very kind of you.
So, first impression on your track. To be frank, I really love that mid to lower frequency bass tag. I am working on something "similar" to that bassline and I am curious if you possibly have attempted to work on a higher bpm with this track. The reason I ask is, I feel the compression may be a tad high...yes but, the ducking is not catching up with your kick. Now, I ran into this on another track of mine and I ,farting around and out of luck, sped the track up and poof! It did the trick.

As much as I dig the bass line, the area that is muddling the effect is the mid range pads. As a suggestion, I would remove the sidechain from those whispering pad tones and let them play naturally. I take notice of this with an example at your 2:08 mark. When your kick stops, those pads flow more because there is nothing to duck on it.
I would really like to continue to see your development on this cut, it has potential.
